Problem: Grand Teton National Park is proposing to locate the new pathway from the Gros Ventre River to Moose unnecessarily close to the busy high-speed Highway 26/89.

We the undersigned urge Grand Teton National Park to change the current plan so that the pathway is shifted farther away from the highway to ensure safety and enjoyment of park visitors and pathway users, and to mitigate likely maintenance problems. Shifting the pathway to an average distance of 50' is within the NPS Record of Decision and would have no measurable impact on the park's natural resources or wildlife.

This is an urgent matter as pathway layout is nearly final and clearing could start this fall with construction to begin Spring 2011. Please help - your support helps make a better, safer pathway.
